THANKS ALL. I just got home and was able to see the cards and posts. Loved them.
The widow maker artery was clogged and that is were the stint went in. I won't be diving for a couple of weeks and I am in pain but I will be back and out in no time.
I still think the operation failed though. With a tag on one arm and IV's in both, you would think I would have turned into a fish. Oh well, maybe next time.

Glad you are home and recuperating. Take it easy and don't rush anything. I am sure you will be able to get out soon enough. Get well and looking forward to more of your recovery stories.

had the same kind of heart attack , there were 2 in the ER that night , the other guy was not as lucky. Felt much better after i recovered with a lot more blood flowing. Glad you are home already and recovering, stay out of that cold water for awhile.

Glad you both survived , that's some scary stuff ! It's amazing how much
the medical field has advanced in the field of heart procedures .

.......but don't rush it, make sure you get an okay from the doctor first before diving again !
When you said "....you would think I would have turned into a fish. Oh well, maybe next time" was you hoping something along the lines of maybe they'd implant gills (or you'd grow gills) at the same time so you'd no longer need to use an air tank to dive ?

Well, if you're having to stay put to recuperate longer, then there's "good news and bad news" :
The bad news is, you're not going to be racking up more adventure stories, bragging rights finds, posse-hunt rescues, etc.... We've come to expect these Indiana Jones adventures !
But the good news is: Now that you'll have more time to sit and home and type, you can regale us with opinions on cop encounters more

At least the water might be a little warmer by then , sure cold water not good on the heart.

A buddy of mine , a tractor trailer driver in Vegas had a heart attack at work, the put a stent in through his groin , he was back to work in a week , feeling great , that was 2 years ago, no problems !

I think he will be amazed how much more energy he has with the increased blood flow.
