I blew the picture up, but couldn't read the letters on the side. You might try Googling the words and go from there. Nice find!

The text looks like: "Aeroporto pratica di mari" There is a Pratica de Mare airport near Rome, perhaps this is some sort of souvenir from there...watch fob or keychain part.

from what i see there is the north star on the picture, im thinking the north star usually has to do with navagation so mabe it is from the airport.
