Copper and silver charm/pendant

Any information in regards to date would be appreciated. (Not the quarter :-) I found this small pendent/charm about 4" down at the same location as the locks mentioned previously. It appears to be a rather old. It is a copper oval with what appears to be a silver inlaid bird. There are no markings on the back.
