Guys a lot of you keep saying it's easy to go back and keep finding more from previously hunted spots. Sure if you only hunted them a few times haphazardly, then yes maybe.
My spots have been cleaned out. You are not going to find a good silver signal. You may find plenty of iffys to dig, but you not going to find an obvious dig me signal. One Park I offered two digging buddies $20.00 for a silver. They get 5 holes apiece to do it in. No takers! I have not hunted it more than half a dozen times this year. Have not found a silver there since last Jan.-Feb. time frame. By the way the Equinox opened this park back up. It had been given up on. I managed around 15 silvers the winter and spring I got my Equinox. After that silver finds became very sporadic.
So if I take a Deus II in there and it unmask any obvious dig me signals believe me that's doing something. I've got several places like that. To me that's how you test a machine other than in the wild found target head to heads.
Well,
You don’t know whether any coins are left.
If you dug the top 14” of dirt and sifted. And no coins materialized then there may not be any left.
You are presuming.
Is there any low conductor targets still in site?
Is there any iron left in site?
Has any detector deeper than Eqx been used in site?
If the answer to first 2 questions is yes.
And the answer to the last question is no.
There could be coins located and dug in the site.
Never say never when it comes to detecting.
Think about this.
Deus 2 with 9” coil. It appears deep.
So with it’s smaller footprint it just might alert on a deeper target (coin) that Eqx with 11” coil can’t get. This could be driven by either or lower conductor maskers or iron.
Could we place nails and foil around say a 9” deep coin whereas Deus 2 pegs it. Where as Nox, Etrac, CTX, Anfibio, etc can’t hit? I think so.
Just takes one scenario(problem) in site that Deus 2 solves and the others won’t.
Also, I am going to ask Calabash to do the following with Deus 2.
Anyone who has used Deus 1.
Seems best I remember you change freqs you can hear relay inncoil withmfreq change.
So can he hear relay action in coil with program change using multi freq?
If so this would suggest freq change going on.
And imo this may be first multi freq detector that does this. I have a hunch it is doing this. Don’t know though. A gut hunch.
