Deus 2 might just be the new bomb

Some folks maybe not all want to know what’s is out there and how it performs. How it compares to the other detectors. We know some are better than others. We also know some models do everything other will do and then some.

This talking about models, nothing really different than comparing other things.
Like autos, guns, fishing reels, other gadgets we may decide to buy.

Some of what Deus 2 is doing may be seen in the future with other models. Some of these models may cost less too.

So it’s nice to see a manufacturer make a seemingly better performing product. This will drive rest of industry to some degree. Xp already has btw with Deus 1 creation.

Those underwater Deus 2 headphones. Who would have ever thought of those??

Thanks for posting TN,your right in what your saying imo

It goes like this.
Someone wants to detect with me with say Fisher F5 or At Pro, or Ace 250. I’ll go with them. I am not snobbish. Who knows they may hit jackpot with their detector.
This has already happened btw. Gent found find of the day with a Quest and I had EQX 800.
Happened too with gent running F5. Me running Deus 1.

I’ll try to help anyone I can with detecting if I can. I have not run all models.

Exciting times ahead.
As Deus 2, Legend and perhaps other models get into hands of people. This I am certain of. And colder weather when we are cooped up. Maybe we can all watch videos of those doing who have the units and are not hamstrung with exceptional cold weather.

I look at the hobby like this.
We are all on the same team. Granted some have more loot to spend on the hobby.
The enemy is. Nails/iron, bottlecaps, mineralization, Emi, salt water, modern junk, etc.

A tip here for finding videos of certain models detectors.
This won’t find all videos. They just come up at random occasionally.
What I do is just plug in YouTube.com
And some videos come up like Deus 2 videos.
Guess this happens since I have been watching Deus 2 YouTubes or searching for Deus 2 videos using google. A lot of these videos won’t come up with google search either.

Just thought I would share. Some folks may be trying to figure out how I find the videos I do. So now you know.

Here so many beach hunters have already invested in the Nox (99%) I don't see a mad rush of them switching anytime soon. It did take 5 years for the Nox to take over, who knows how long for the Deus ll if it is the Poo.

Me...Still watching here, will give it plenty of time to show itself. I do see a few things I like so far....the light weight, And Very good in close to shore trashy area's which I rarely hunt for that reason. Other then that only way it will replace the Excalibur is if it is deeper on gold in the waist to chest deep saltwater. So far their rookie pass on the open beach did not impress. Be interesting to see the bigger coil at work also.

My other machine, the "AQ"
I know it is way deeper and maybe even better on gold in iron mix then the Deus ll... Only problem with the "AQ" in the gold / iron mix, if the iron is bigger then a golf ball.. then it will see the iron only.. And that is all the "AQ" has to offer..........depth and Very limited discrimination... Time will tell on all....:timer:

Even after adding more clad and nails to the board the Aq had no problems seeing the gold.

And Thanks to CB for doing the time out and sharing so close to Christmas.

I agree, sometimes it takes competition to bring out the best in man, even companies. Hopefully this will stir the pot.

Also bone phones for water detectors have been around for many years. Just not that design....most were a single piece that slips under your hood. I've made several over the years for divers and J.W. Fisher still offers them.

They even make apTx low latency bone headphones.

This has been the point all along, tnss. No shame or harm not having a Benelli to go duck hunting.

Zebco 202 works fine in ponds or small lakes. Going offshore something like a
Shimano Thunnus 6000 CI4 would serve your needs better. Most will never go offshore. Many will always be pond or small lake fisher people. It's all good though.

BTW, I prefer spinning reels.

UGH

Everyone around me has their gun jamming/breaking compared to my Benelli.

I am not fishing with a Zebco 202, I am worth more than that.

Not detecting with an inferior detector either! [I am worth more than that!]

Some, are [as my dad would say] Pennywise and Dollar Foolish.

Thank you for lending me your Deus 1. That machine was out of my short term learning mode and was totally alien to me in the field for the short time I had it. The Deus II is much more understandable because of CB videos and I have it on pre-order along with the Nokta Legend. I think both machines will be game changers.
Have a great and merry Christmas Sir!!!

Funny, I've never had a Remmington or Browning fail me. Nor has my H&R failed me. I can shoot as well as you or better with either.

If your worth more than a 202. Good for you. You remind of those clowns who spend 3k on a redfish charter. My cousins and I wait for the tide to come in. We go to the bridge and limit out in 15 minutes and go home. Cost us maybe 5 bucks for gas. Chest full of reds. Cleaned and cooked before that charter makes it back to land. Something about pennywise and dollar foolish...where have I heard that ?
