What does everyone do for a living?

What part of Alabama. My wife and I moved from Guntersville Alabama to Central Florida last year.

The district I am running is covers part of Dekalb, Cherokee, Calhoun, and Cleburne.

I worked the guntersville area when I was a state investigator. That profile pic on here was actually taken in Boaz.

I was your friendly parts guy in a heavy truck and construction equipment shop. Also about 20 years as a volunteer firefighter. Retired now.

I'm a Glass Blower/Lampworker

Glass Artist is probably more accurate. I do mostly jewelry and ornaments with a few pipes here and there as requests.

I have my own Business

I work from home but I also do managed my business as a retailer of cellular phones loads. I have started years ago and still pushing it through. The income does not vary, however, I am already used to and really able to balance the pros and cons of my business. I don't consider it as a big one, but I'm proud to say that I can survive with this kind of business. I think , I just have to be updated and continue to learn about it to earn more:)

Was a dairy farmer all my life (53 years old or young depending on the day) and sold all our cows as we were slowly going in the hole & am now trying my luck at being a metal detector dealer. Will be out looking for a job for the first time in my life but hoping I can find some farm jobs come spring and summer.

I worked SAR cases off the Atlantic coast for 6 years. These days I'm fat, 30 years old, and I feel old. I own a cosmetic company of all things  . And I am damn proud to be a largely work at home Dad to my three small children. I miss nothing, except what it used to feel like to be a kid, but even that I get to foster in my three little ducklings. Twins, boy and a girl, and my youngest son.

I feel your pain. My service career only lasted six good years and eight total. In all that time I never really expected to be a civilian, much less sit in front of a computer clicking a mouse. Whoever invented the cubical deserves a special kind of torture.
