Notka's two new detectors..

accupoint looks to me about the same size as the pulse, which I own
How are you coming to that conclusion?

The Accupoint isn't anywhere near the size of the Pulse. The Accupoint is the same size as every other pinpointer. Watch when Dilek holds it. The size can be determined by referencing it to her hand and her head.

Until we see the dealer's prices, then it's all just speculation. Also, that $269 doesn't include the Minelab headphones. I think they're what? About $150?

But ya, something like $269 without headphones, and $350 with headphones would be good.
Thats why I stated bring the Score and Double Score out for $269 and include headphones at that price then you have an excellent priced entry level detector

Many use earbuds instead of headphones. As such, a price for it with and without headphones would be ideal.

Dig do you have one of the Accupoint pointers, I am telling you from the Video what I seen it looks to be the same size as the Pulse Dive with the pin pointer tip on it, if you have one already then you would know but if you do not then you are just guessing like the rest of us, until I actually see one to me based on Delik holding it in her hand in the Video it looks to be the same size as the Pulse Dive which I hope is not the case, and hope you are correct Digalicious

Ah the joys of clarifying nomenclature.

I vote we call the detectors, Fixed Single Sine Wave Oscillators (FSSWO), Multiple Selectable Single Sine Wave Oscillators (MSSSWO), and Multi-Period Rectangular Wave & Multiple Selectable Single Sine Wave Oscillator Combo (MPRWMSSSWOC).

Dear Garrett Metal detectors;
Look at all this low price competition blowing away your products!
It is time for you to step to the plate and offer some modern tech that is adjustable and fast recovery speed with iron see through capabilities!
Sincerely...Metaladdict.

I just found out that the Score models are indeed SMF!😯

I almost can't believe it considering both the U.S Nokta rep and Dilek didn't say SMF as they normally would. Anyway, I'm still trying to find out if they are capable of SSF, but I doubt it. Then again, I was completely wrong when I said they weren't SMF

So, ya...the Vanquish line just died, and quite possibly the X-Terra Pro as well, depending on how Nokta prices the Score 1.

Edit:

I just got a notification that my question was answered:

The Score is designed to be turn on and go so just one Multi set. The Score 2 has three selectable Multi sets (M1, M2 & M3 like the Legend) plus a 15khtz single frequency option.

Oh yes, I always gauge my pinpointers against someones head, of course !
Anyhow, I was referring to the new one referenced early in this thread, a link to a pic of which was provided, looked like the same baseball bat size as the pulse.

The picture with it beside the two Scores? If so, gauging an objects size when it's placed beside something real, is a lot more accurate than guaging size from a Photoshopped cut & paste that doesn't have a real reference point 😉

Annnyway...A guy who was at Detectorville, or whatever it was called, said that it's the same size as all the other typical pinpointers.

From the ad:

The company has just announced two new simultaneous multi-frequency machines named “SCORE” and “DOUBLE SCORE”.

Nokta calls them "multi-frequency" not SMF in the introductory video.

My thoughts are that Nokta knowing how important the difference between MF & SMF are to some people, would have focused on it if they were. They didn't so I'd say they aren't. Looks like Nokta is firing back at Minelab for dethroning the Simplex+ with the X-Terra. Price will tell us a lot.

That's what I thought as well, but I was wrong. The following is one of my previous posts:

I just find it hard to believe the big announcement didn't include that they we SMF? Where did you get the information that they are SMF? I see your response, but the answer seems to be lacking a flat Yes, they are simultaneous multi-frequency. What is a "multi set"? Why call it multi set and not SMF like everyone would be familiar with?

One can imagine that multi set means more than one frequency, but why call it multi set instead of simultaneous multi-frequency? Call me suspicious, but something doesn't smell right. Multi Set can also not mean SMF. Simultaneous being the keyword. Multi Set could also just mean each program has a set of frequencies you can choose from

I find it hard to believe as well. Perhaps not saying SMF has something to do with the lawsuit????

I got the info from a popular UK YouTuber that was at Dectectville. I think he's a Nokta Nomad. His name is Adam and his channel is called DtektSussex. Here's our conversation:
