Last I heard. Nokta says this is not a problem.

That's a total lie and you know it.

Dilek talked about the new SMF mode on the matter, in a thread that you were actively involved in. That was at least a month ago. Heck, for at least a month as well, I've directly told you about the upcoming SMF mode numerous times.

It was said, and I quote... "1.09 works perfectly".
That was 10 days ago.

But please show Nokta some respect, and respond in the Legend thread, as per Noktas request.
Things are slow over there.
They dont want the Legend brought over into this thread.

Wonder if a detector could show collocated nonferrous targets sometimes at least even with sorta shady ID?
Wouldn’t that help folks.
Give them more info maybe.
To distrust ID and take a chance and dig.

Think about that.

If you beach detect you better be using this method all day long. Hopefully the Manticore can ID zincs and dimes better than a Deus ll on a salt beach. A zinc in the ground a bit is usually a 72 and turns to an 86. A dime is a 86 and turns to a 90/91. A cherry pickers worst nightmare. And that's just being affected by salt. You also use the 3 scoop method. When a signal disappears with a D2 you take 3 deep scoops. The last one like that was a $1000 gold cross.

I'll find the post from few weeks ago in which Dilek said a new SMF mode was in the works, and it had been for about 3 weeks prior to her post. She said, it was about the foil / coin matter, and explained their concern about that mode being less sensitive to small gold, due to the heavily low weighted characteristics of such a mode. I also recall that TNS replied to her post.

Then there's the fact that I reminded him numerous times about that new SMF mode, because he would never mention it in his foil / coin tests with the Legend.

So ya, TNS is lying, or at the very least being his normal misleading self.

Have you checked some with dive program. To see if ID is better for whatever is down there (higher conductors)?

I haven’t lied about anything.
Folks are currently buying detector. I show as latest update makes detector work. I can’t promise anyone anything version wise.
What about ID around iron?
Yeah.
It needs help too it seems.

She said that because 1.09 works exactly how the designers intended it to work. So yes, it does indeed work "perfectly".

M1 on the Legend is weighted low to mid. The mid part is included so that sensitivity to small gold won't be lost. Dilek said the same thing a few weeks ago. The trade off with M1 though, is that under certain circumstances the mid frequency of M1 may drag down the tone and ID of a coin masked by a nonferrous target, just as it does with any other detector. So, now the Legend users want a low weighted only SMF mode (no mid frequency), and that is exactly what Dilek said Nokta Makro would deliver.

Been running them in 0.6 for about 250 hours. Just started testing them in 0.71. Too many lookers to test gold. Dug a junk gold ring today and it looked like i was a movie star on the beach after a few seconds when they saw "gold". So far in beach sens. 0.71 helps on iron cap hits. Not coins. Dive program i'll try a few different set ups. Something may need to be filtered differently?

I too, am looking forward to his free and extensive testing with the Manticore.

There are only a very few people doing extensive side by side comparison testing on video.

Im still waiting for those that dispute his masking results, to prove otherwise, with videos of their own, but so far, nobody has..............
