If he does have a non disclosure agreement with Minelab he's not actually supposed to be running his mouth about a Manticore. You think Minelab wants someone saying a Manticore is about like a so and so detector or is a leaker, cheap made, etc? You'd never get free stuff again! Tn is gonna be kissing butt for a while.
He had already previously let Minelab's new earless coil design out of the bag a while back.

IF I were Minelab, I would want all users to be truthful in what they find as the truth always comes out in the end. Integrity is priceless, though becoming a rare commodity these days...from previous videos I think TNS is pretty objective and shows the settings, etc.

So one can always run the tests themselves to verify and confirm, but overall I am glad others take their time to try out scenarios. Food for thought if nothing else.

When you are a tester you aren't supposed to be running your mouth. We have a tester here and still not sure it's even a Manticore. May be something different? The difference is he's not talking about it, letting anyone see it, etc. That's what a tester does. Not drop hints with hidden detectors in vids they want you to see to tell you they can't really talk about it. But "Boy look at me! I'm special!"

Just one example of this, is showing all the settings, but deliberately not using the correct SMF mode for a particular test. There's a lot more to it than that, but that's all I care to elaborate on for now.

FWIW the Manticores the testers have are what you'd call the lemons anyways. Trying to work out what's wrong. The real testers are the ones who pre ordered the Manticore who are fixing to hammer their hunting spots. And not against a Legend but the Deus ll's they previously bought. I got a Manticore on the way. But can in no way help someone who does not hunt salt beaches in my area. I don't back yard test or hunt inland. So anything i say can only help a salt beach hunter. And that's a maybe.

Of course not, because he wants newbies to think he's special. Just like how when it comes to the Manticore, he incessantly posts (like a little insecure kid) that, "I've got a secret, but can't tell you what it is!".

An even better example is how he claims to have "revealed" (his word), the foil/coin matter on the Legend. Truth is, he didn't discover it. Yet, he never corrected all the people who clearly thought he discovered it.

Show me a video done before I showed showing beach wet performance in modern trash or modern trash testing.
I never saw the first one.
Right out the gate I noticed and said as much Park and field were not keeping up with Nox Park 1.. Go look at the videos where I talk about this. Remember I was looking at these modes first. Like any land hunter would. Then I started looking at beach programs.

Paystreak hasn’t even mentioned.
Nor has UK youtuber history revisited.
They have had their Legends lot longer than me.
What gives?

It does no good to confront him with irrefutable evidence of him being wrong as he will just ignore it and throw a bunch of meaningless words back at you. That has been his MO since he joined this forum.

Figuring some would ask what did you find them with.
And I couldn’t say.

I'm not in your head, Tnsharpshooter, so only you know why you didn't clarify. I just have my own opinion based on what I would have done. Are you implying that the NDA is the reason you didn't clarify that it wasn't your idea? If that were the case, I would think that the NDA should have kept you from mentioning the new coil attachment design in a public forum to begin with. Or at the very least, a simple "Not my idea folks - just something that came up talking to others" would have been more honest in my opinion, and would keep any NDA intact while also deflecting any additional questions. Yep, you never directly claimed it was your idea, you just chose not to point out it wasn't your idea either, and let people praise you for coming up with it. Sure, it's a nuance, I guess - but an important nuance in my opinion. You disagree, and that's fine.

Dodging the questions, outright ignoring the evidence when proven wrong, completely missing the point, and a barrage of Red Herrings.

I've pretty much given up on trying to have an objective and rational conversation with him. The main reason that I reply to his assertions, is to show newbies just how misleading he is.

The only legitimate issue that I've seen him raise about the Legend, is that MW mode unmasks coins from nonferrous trash incredibly well (even better than the Nox), but the other SMF modes can drag the coin's tone and ID down. No mention from him, of course, that Nokta knows about the matter, and will be releasing a very low weighted SMF mode for Park, that is similar to MW mode.
