I volunteer teaching school kids at the George Rogers Clark (famous Rev War officer and hero) homesite in Clarksville, Indiana. GRC's Brother, William Clark, was the "Clark" of the Lewis and Clark Expedition and we hold a reenactment at the homesite twice a year. That is early 1800s (1803 and 1806). From there almost everything clothing and weapon wise is the same as that for War of 1812. There are two really big events here in Indiana, including the biggest in this part of the world, the Battle of Mississinewa in Marion, Indiana. It is HUGE and at one time had over 10,000 reenactors ! It's a really fun and interesting hobby. I will be posting some pictures in my gallery today of some of my reenacting ventures. Thanks for asking! Take care and HH!
