So I said I was done with tot-lots and moving on to a serious quest to find some gold. Hubby and I headed over to our local go-to spot and I set the disc. at the L in foil and began to swing. If you're looking for trashy signals, this place won't disapoint and I ended up with 35 pieces of trash/pulltabs, but managed to stumble across this cool silver pin. I don't know it's exact age, but it's marked Sterling rather then 925 and the Assoc. of Commerce is now the Chamber of Commerce. I couldn't find out anything about the maker-metal art co. other than they are still around in Rochester, N.Y. When was the last time you got a silver pin for being a safe driver for 4 years? LOL The 2 leaves thingy is a junk piece of a pin/broach. When you dig the lower signals you just never know what you'll find. Good luck to us all on future hunts. : )

Gold hunters are all crazy, crazy! Welcome to the tribe of the total lunatics!!

You will find Gold when you least expect it and you won't believe your eyes when you do.

Thanks Ace. The brews were waiting at home. That's one less silver that will be found next month. (wink wink) Good luck with your hunts. : )

Lookin for gold

When I am specifically hunting just for gold, it usually is gold that a friend has asked me to find for them. When I find it for them, they have the gall to expect me to give it back to them. Can you believe that? But it is still a lot of fun to show off and find it for them.
