Finally Coin Star Silver!

I’ve been dutifully checking the Coin Star return slot on each of my Kroger runs for almost as long as I’ve been detecting…so maybe 6 or 7 years. I’ve gotten plenty of clad, quite a few foreign coins, several tokens, and a few Wheaties, including a beautiful steel cent. But never silver - until yesterday!! As I walked past, all that was visible was the big ol’ modern arcade token, but when I reached in…bonus! Nothing fancy…just a late date Rosie, but I’ll take it!

Thanks Dan! Not only did I rub it, but I used a little baking soda while I rubbed…now it sparkles almost just like when it left the mint!
