Which one??

The 540 is better suited for a primary or backup detector. It has more coil choices and that is why I have a 540. Much lighter on the arm. ...... better lower price than Nox. Find you a used one and save some $$$.

Are you looking at the Manufacturers Minimum Advertised Price or the actual price that a dealer will give you?? Before deciding talk to the dealers who sponsor this forum and see what the machine will actually cost.

Have not traveled that path...do Dealer Sponsors typically offer better deals? What is a typical saving/discount (%)? TIA and HH!!

It varies by sponsor, but it's certainly worth sending a PM or making a phone call. Depending on the detector you're looking for the savings could pay for half of a second coil, or pay for a pinpointer.

Holy cow, $949 now? Glad I got mine last year. Didnt realize they went up a few hundo

Equinox 800 had a $50 MSRP price increase not a few hundo..........

Equinox 600 MSRP is still $649.

The Vanquish 540 feels nose heavy to me with the 12" coil.
The Vanquish 540 and 440 feel just right with the 10" coil. The Vanquish 440 price is unbelievable at $279.
