I have a doctor and 2 nurses in my family. Mask are a joke.
Masks work... why do you think we didn't have a Flu season last year? If masks don't work why are doctors and nurses wearing them?

He had COVID with symptoms late last summer or early fall.
The vaccines have also have yet to be fully approved which could also add to vaccine hesitancy.
Different age groups appear to have different opinions on this matter, for those at higher risk it helps them and gives them a boost and I could see why they want more people vaccinated, but younger age groups like teenagers have strong immune systems and I just don't see a reason to mandate them to get vaccinated, even if they get it the chances of it being severe are smaller then older folks. I think masks do make a difference. How much ? Idk , I'm not a mask scientist. But anyone who knows anything about filtration would know common sense. If someone walking by or talking 4 or 5 feet away and they cough , sneeze , etc...at least a mask will prevent the bulk of that loogie from entering you. Ever talk to someone 6' away and they spit out a piece of food that goes flying out the pie hole ? Yeah , gross. And why have a big portion of the Chinese population been wearing masks when out and about ? They been wearing them for years , so what's really going on over there. Do they know something we don't ? Maybe FMDF should allow only those that can show documented proof of being vaxed to be members !
Took my first shot today. I understand the risks and hesitation of many. I would rather make my own choice and did so. My wife thinks I am crazy to get it but isn’t it great this personal liberty we have that we can be divided and still get along?!
My logic might not make sense to others but I just look at it like this, ppl who are dead bc of Covid would get it if given the opportunity to get the shot. I would rather take the chance of long term side effects than be dead from a disease that could be prevented with a risky rush to market less than perfect shot.
