Oh well, I was hoping we could all have a civil and intelligent discussion about the vaccine and looking out for each other.

Reading some of these replies shows I was, sadly :( , terribly wrong. :no:
 
I think all this will pass and life will go on...the world is getting crazier each day...Could be I'm getting older(61). But than my Grandmothers..That passed at 100 and 98...Told me they saw so much stuff in there life!!! To them the world was Crazy...To me it was normal......I guess it's just the time you grow up?..Now so much information is thrown in your face ...who knows what is right? One day this..other day that...That Remote island is sounding better and better each day!...............Everybody stay Safe somehow!

But you must have known that such a hot topic would become heated and you posted it anyway. My suggestion would be to no longer put any posts about Covid on this or any forum.

Are there some far out conspiracy theories out there without any real foundation in fact ?, for sure !, as far as Covid and vaccines, at this point I really can't say for sure if Covid was released by accident or not, but it obviously is having serious results with at least a percentage of the population and I don't think the answer would be to do nothing at all.

Now some conspiracies out there in the world can be shown to be real, one example is the long term plan to bring about a one world government, even if anyone exercises their right to dismiss the Bible prophecy about a coming Antichrist one world government that is their free will choice, but I could also show many actual quotes from well known people that were in places of power from over the years that have actually admitted that is the ultimate goal of the globalists. I share that as one example of a conspiracy based in fact, as far as Covid and vaccines, like I said, I can't say for sure, but regardless of how it happened, it does seem to be causing serious problems with a fair portion of the population, so whether we all can agree on what might be the best course of action, somehow simply doing nothing at all does not seem to be the best option. Sure, there will likely be examples where some people were not affected that bad, but what about the all the ones that were ?

For the record, I hold no hard feelings to anyone who chooses to disagree with anything I say, that is your free will right, as it is mine, we can simply agree to politely "agree to disagree" on any particular points and still remain friendly on this "Friendly" metal detecting forum :lol:

I agree. It should offer some sort of defense。 The % would have.a dozen different factors.
you have cherry picked the aerosol droplet info to support the story but that was expected.. as was your reply.
Ive coughed in my mask before and while it stops a good portion some escapes off to the sides.
 
I was not quite exactly sure what the "pie hole " was , where it was located , what function it served and how one went about opening or closing it . I figured I'd better
do an online search to find the answer this is what I found .

A “pie hole” is a chimney like device, often in the shape of a goose neck, that one inserts into the centre of a pie prior to baking it. It is ceramic and has a hole in it, allowing steam to escape from the pie when it is cooking. We were served a large home made meat pie tonight at dinner, with a pie hole in it.

Hmmm........ who would have thought a baking utensil would have ever found its way
into a debate about Covid vaccinations ?

Not everyone was wearing a mask... plus some didn't know how to wear them... I'm not going to tell someone that they are not protected when they wear their masks on their chin or under their noses...then you have the people who thought their homemade masks were medical grade.. as far as I am concerned they are all worthless...I also didn't see very many protecting their eyes which is another entry point...

Then you have the tough guy types who didn't social distance... I had my run ins with them shopping... they backed off... at the time I was taking care of a elderly family member...

I always heard it used as a humorous slang term for a person's mouth.

Sorry, I was typing my post and didn't see this before I posted my post, didn't think the definition I found as being to where one puts pie when they eat (their mouth) was anything bad, just funny.
