Tha Knife Thread

All those nice blades. Here are a couple of mine

I have a smaller version of the knife in the top picture in my collection. It's made by Mtech. I keep it on my desk and use it almost everyday.

Great collections guys! wow! :wow:

You made it out of a circular saw blade? Amazing!

Seems like there's a couple of members here who makes their own knives.

"booker" just posted a couple knives recently. Check this out... Railroad spike and horse shoe knife

As a kid I used to lay nails on the railroad track and make small knives, also laid pennies on there to and flattened them (I probably messed up some good coins). Had to lay the nails the long way just right to get them to flatten out good. I don't see any of those any more, must be because they looked like prison shanks.

I have a large collection of knives also, that has ether been bought, handed down or found. Mostly cheapies except for my dads pear handle barber shaving knife.

Lately I have acquired several really sturdy made knives. I just got another one. After so many assisted and lock-blade knives I sat there looking at it trying to see how to open it. I had forgotten that this was just an ordinary pocket knife that just snaps open and snaps closed. It has a strong spring so it isn't going to close accidentally. While not as sharp as my last knife, it is sharp enough for most needs. It's my second by Lansky and my first simple pocket knife that I have bought for some time. They say it is legal in 156 countries.

I never tire of looking at knives and there are some very nice ones posted. I still have one I'd like to find on the cheap. I seen it in a gun mag in the 80's its a blackjack mamba.

Here are two Italian folding bayonets for the 6.5 carcano not seen to often and kind of scarce.

While I bought this as a possible digger, it's sharp enough to use as a weapon. It's a duct knife made by Klenk. It reminded me of my old 3-in-1 knife so I decided to give it a try. It may just end up in my knife collection.

Here are the two latest in my collection:
Buck.JPG
A Buck Intrepid. 5 1/2" Blade.
ERCK.JPG
A large Elk Ridge Camp Knife. 9 1/4" Blade.
I have a couple more that I might post later.
I'm still waiting in a small Gerber fixed blade.

Here are some of the knives that i have found

Thought I'd show a few more recent additions to my collection.
Comanche Hawk.JPG
A Comanche Hawk by Tops.
Comanche Hawk 2.JPG
This thing is a beast. A quarter inch thick.
SOGF.JPG
My dealer friend made me a good deal because he got tired of
people playing with it.
Folders.JPG
The top is by Kilimanjaro. A little larger than I expected.
The other two are cheap folders by Snap On and Browning.
The Browning is extremely difficult to open one handed.

Three more:
Colt 1.JPG
Colt 2 D Guard.JPG
Two Colt Bowies. Believe it or not the D Guard is made
in Pakistan. It's well made but I don't know what kind of
steel was used. I will only use it for display anyway.
Finn Bear.JPG
A Cold Steel Finn Bear. A nice little knife.
