Nokta Makro Legend feedback, use, comparisons, etc

Oh yeah I have sense of humor. Only three members here have actually met me.
Got to go visit ole CD someday.
Go on a beach hunt maybe or relic hunt.
See what happens.
Naturally the cameras will be running.

I hunted with one member here the other day.
Sloan dog is his name. Detecting for CW relics is his game. He’s quiet yet deadly with his new Deus 2.

Quite a thread we have going here. I better get my two cents in. Even though it can become a little annoying, TNSS posting all these videos about the Legend may work in favor of Legend owners, especially if it leads to updates making the Legend an even better detector than what it already is. The question on my mind is why he didn't perform all these tests when other detectors were released??? It does seem as if he finds delight in finding anything he can to make the Legend look bad, but if it results in updates to improve the machine, that's a good thing. I do occasionally watch one of his videos, but certainly don't watch all of them. I have been pleased with my Legend, and have made many good finds, but if it can be improved, I'm all for it.

Yes, I know you did a few tests on other machines, but my comment stated "all these tests", as in so many of them. I'd be surprised if all of those test videos on other machines combined added up to the total you have done focusing on the Legend. I could be wrong, but I sure don't remember seeing that many videos on other machines. Whatever the case, keep testing away.

TN I like some of your videos, informative .I can't shake the feeling tho that the real test of a machines worth is out in the field, and truth be told I'd watch everyone of your videos of real world hunting no matter what you found..It's not always good outstanding finds we make but it makes it just as fun for me as for the hunter videotaping it,cause we both see the surprises in real time, I actually root for the guys in the videos lol

Well.
Elevated above ground tests with Legend are done for now. Barring update where I may have to go back to check something.

So if no updates all folks will see video wise is live digs. And folks can decide if what they see in the live digs parallels what they have seen in my tests.
Did a hunt today and posted short clip of one target being detected and recovered.

Actually some Deus 2 faults/shortcomings were talked about by me early on. Update was done. I conveyed other things to manufacturer marketing rep I found as well as others’ recommendations. Some of these at least were implemented with update(s).

Almost all of his so called tests are meaningless BS. The only somewhat interesting thing he found that could stick, was that Beach Wet unmasks better than the other SMF modes. But wait! Turns out, he didn't discover that, it was one of his subscribers! lol

Your facts are wrong I’m afraid.
It was not one of my subscribers who pointed this out. And this subscriber that did, did so on another's you tube channel. And this person who the you tube channel belonged asked me about what his subscriber had posted. And I told him what? Beach wet runs on lower freq I thought. I already knew the deal other beach wet. I just hadn’t Showed any video up to that point. I was trying to get final decision on the actual soil based programs in the park and field.
I think there is a video that actually supports everything I have said above. Not my video. Someone else’s. Guess whose?

You really should get your facts straight before you post them.

Why would I try and pick apart a deficiency a deus 2 owners talks about. That would be defending the Deus 2. Wouldn’t it? So I by doing so would be in the tank with Deus 2/Xp.
Most of the things folks are talking about deficiency wise seems are related to salt water/beach hunting. I don’t detect salt water or beaches. I live in Tn. So I can’t rate one way or the other.

In case you don’t Know. EQX beach mode runs lower freq (and or is lower weightedJ too. And even using it to hunt for higher conductive coins on land has been talked about.

I've been a very active member on that group for about the last year. I visit it on a daily basis. I've read pretty much everything that has been posted on that group during that time.

The only posts that I've ever seen deleted, were posts by trolls.

I heard the group was being controlled with certain videos being deleted. Ashame. So much for transparency. Why even have a group? Makes no sense.
I am not a member there and won’t never be.

You got that right!!! Real real small. Imagine bigger Can slaw affects. I used scissors and cut real small triangle off of mountain dew aluminum can. That is thin aluminum. It could be thicker, be smaller and have same affect maybe.

Folks watching on big screen PCs and TVs likely can see how small the slaw is.

Funny, right now there are 3 separate posts about the foil thing on that page, and they have been there from 4 days to a week.
