Lions and Tig...Bobcats and Bears, oh my! (My Game Cameras)

This Bobcat has well defined markings. It has a critter in its mouth in the second photo.

Just to show the massive difference between a Bobcat and a PNW Cougar. This particular Cougar is probably north of 150 pounds and over 7 feet tall. Most people aren’t aware of how big these cats are.

The two cats are at the same spot on the log and the camera doesn’t move, so this an accurate representation of the size difference.

Winter held on kicking and screaming this year. I’ve finally had some warm weather for a few days, which is giving me a chance to clean up from the winter storms, but it looks like it’s going to be raining on and off for a week starting in a couple days. I’ll never get my cameras dried out at this rate. 😣

Yeah, was a helluva winter out our way! Snow starting to melt so Yosemite Park had to close due to the Merced River flooding.

You’re welcome. It takes a lot of time and energy getting the images that I get. It’s a lot of trial and error. Mostly error. 🙃

That said, I enjoy sharing the images with people like you, who enjoy seeing the animals as much as I do, but don’t have the opportunity that I have to capture the images. 🙂

My property is the last livable property, so I am the only property that has a mailbox down at the house, because the mailman can make a circle turn around. All other properties have mailboxes up at the road. My mail route is about 75 miles, so to help out the mailman I moved my mailbox to the next nearest property. It saves the mailman some time and also helps with the confusion for substitute mailmen.
