In that last video it looks like he/she is “sniffing” out the camera location.

He(I can tell it’s a male from the shape of the ears and that its a young male from its features) can see the camera. I use low(red) glow cameras purposely, so I get reactions from the animals at night. It’s sniffing for anything it can smell, their sense of smell is incredible. They stick their nose in the air like an antenna trying to capture a signal.

This would have been a good photo, but the little guy didn’t get his head around in time.

It’s been pretty quiet around here. The necks on the bucks are beginning to swell and the Bobcats are always prowling. The bears have moved off since the berries have finished and still only the one lion in recent months. I did get a one-eyed Bobcat, so I can add it to the list of other one-eyed animals.

I really like your Game Pix/Video's. Thans again

Our Bobcats in Missouri have white patches on the back of their ears. This pix shows the White Patch [ and didn't like the salt block LOL -he's taking a leak ]

I'd think that one-eye cat would be a Mountain Lion - or did it lost an eye & tail too LOL

A one-eyed Bobcat and a one-eyed Cougar. The one-eyed Cougar was around for a long time, but I haven’t seen it in a year or so. The one-eyed Bobcat is new.

I guess I'm blind too - I thought the one-eyed cat was the same cat but 2 different pictures but I see now that the blind eye was Left then Right eye...

Unfortunately the camera lens is a little fogged up.

It's not my best work, but I'm going to get a third camera put up and hopefully get some better videos.

I finally put up a third camera at the tree bridge, but I haven't had a lion or bear cross it yet. I'll get some good face shots when they do.

The camera lenses are almost always wet this time of year, so it’s hard to ever get clear images. It doesn’t help that I had to compress the image twice to get it under 1.2 MB. That’s going to reduce the quality of my images when I get some good ones.

thanx guy, love your video/pixs - tree bridge? - was that another cam looking this way? [light] Awhile back you mention a bridge that got washed away Did you get that beam there? Those bridges sure work...

Yes, that’s another camera. I have three cameras there. I just didn’t bother editing the camera angles together, because the Bobcat just hopped onto the tree and scooted across quickly until it stopped in front of the third camera. Don’t forget, there’s no visible light. It’s pitch dark. Only the cameras can see the light.
