Lions and Tig...Bobcats and Bears, oh my! (My Game Cameras)

I’ll try to get more photos and videos posted. Rainy season is long here and water on the camera lenses ruins image quality, which can be frustrating. I do like sharing images of wild animals with people that enjoy them like I do. Especially, the predators. 🙂👍🏼

I went to get my mail from the box, it's 500+ yards from the house, and I wonder if this lion could actually smell me ~40 minutes later and follow me down to the house? It happens often enough to not be a coincidence. It hung around for quite awhile. I've never put any cameras around the house or other buildings.

That was neat - an hour later the cat followed you. I read years ago that cats can smell about the same as human but that can't be true or maybe you need a bath. :cup:

I guess it was 50 minutes not 40. It sure looks like it's crouching down, sniffing me out and following my footsteps. It's been anywhere from ~10 minutes to about this amount of time that it happens. I wonder how long I leave my stink behind?

My Dad always told me you only have one shot with a pistol & that's when you throw it at it LOL. When I lived in Oregon, I went into the mountains after Friday after work & tented till Sunday [ almost every time by myself, well, me & my 357 pistol ] I was worried more about bears than Mountain Lions or Bigfeet. One day 2 lions took off - boy I was excited. In those days I don't think you could buy Cams yet.

I carry a short barreled(20”) shotgun most of the time when I’m out at night.

It would be nice if it would stop raining every day, so the cameras could dry out. These would be great photos if the lens wasn’t wet.
