From the videos I have watched the Deus 2 is not doing anything better or worse than other well-made name brand detectors. The light weight and ability to collapse easily for transport would be the main selling features for me.
You know me woodbutcher, target ID is job 1 because of my medical issues. That and ergonimics. I love the Deus for the ergonomics. If the Deus II can prove more depth, raw depth not just unmasking, then I'll do what I must to get one. Until then, my Equinox 800 & E-Trac does me well.
