Help identifying an item I found please

Wow not much to go by.Being it's oval maybe some type of medallion or pennet. That's just a wild guess.

Other than it looks like it has four points of attachment on the back, I have no clue. To make it easier for us in the future put a size reference indicator near it like a quarter so we can see how big it is. Unusual find.
