Same with my first rings, my first gold and first most everything else.
Nothing like it and it only happens once, after many hours of searching when it happens a unique feeling and nothing else quite like it.

Congratulations Gary on finding your first silver coin and second wheatie. Most likely you'll always remember where and how you found your first silver coin. My first silver coin find was also a Mercury dime and I remember it like it was yesterday even though it was 36 years ago. Now just don't get caught up in the "silver coin sweepstakes" becoming obsessed with silver. A hunt without silver is NOT a failure......just enjoy the hobby for the good that it brings to you.

Thanks !!!! ......actually the silver was found at the walking park that I've hunted already several times before, I focused on a different area of the park that I hadn't tried before. The new site will be when I hunt that new permission later this week !
