Can anyone explane me, as i don't understand something?
America locked down for airplanes from europe.
So a european in my country who hardly left his home, or even was in quarantain, and is no risk can not fly to America.
But an American who partied day and night last month in my country (visiting coffee shops? Red light district? Bars?) can fly home?
What's the difference then in contamination risk? I'm lost.

You are quite correct. It might even be that a European could take the tunnel from the main continent, to the U.K., and get on an airplane to the U.S., without being discovered. It wouldn't be right, but it might be possible to accomplish.

The point is supposed to be travel restrictions, but it should have been instituted a month ago. As it is, it's too little, too late, and the current response isn't big enough. There should be complete restrictions being put in place to prevent the spread of this thing. No travel anywhere, for anyone, for anything.
The only exceptions might be for emergency services personnel.

Just my opinion.....Roger

I think it's just a numbers game, trying to keep incoming cases down.

I didn't even think about the red light districts. Are they shutting them down too?

Just got an email from our internet provider which included these precautions on staying healthy:

What we all can do:

Practice good hygiene.
Wash your hands frequently and for at least 20 seconds.
Cover your nose and mouth if you have to sneeze or cough.
Use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol content.
Please stay home if you are sick.
Practice “Social Distancing.” Stay at least 6 feet away from other people when in public.

I would clarify that when you cover your mouth to use your elbow not your hands.

Also, the "Stay at least 6 feet away from other people when in public." might not be easy when going to the checkout line in the store.

I've also been getting emails from restaurants and fast-food places, our local grocery store, and Walmart mentioning how they are implementing extra disinfecting precautions to help keep their businesses safe to patronize.

Btw. Prepping is started here (unnecessary panic as more then enough supplies available. Empty shelves are full again tomorrow).
First fights were there about rolls toiletpaper and cookies.

The crazyness.

I personally hope i (and my family) get/had it quick (probably already have it) so that I quickly build up resistance and immunity. Then it's through for us.
Meanwhile guarding for the old, weak and sick people!! For those it's terrible.

OMG, That was regular news. The local newspaper!
I say this was censoring regular ontopic news.

The rest was some humorous reaction, so i can understand some discussion about it. But you can't censor normal newspaper artikels.

Your post was deleted because of the cartoon you included, with the caption about people defecating in their pants. I don't know what constitutes a proper newspaper articles in your country, but it doesn't fly by our forum rules.

Im planning on over buying some AR-10 platform builds.

I hope people stop overbuying things in the store.

It's understandable how it can cause a "snowball" effect because if you think the stores might run out of things you need you also might want to stock up more than usual.

Even before the Coronavirus we liked to stock up on some items to simply help reduce having to buy them as often.

Everything is fixed.
Gold/ silver worst week in a decade = check
Stock indexes bid up 15% 1 hour before the weekend = check
$500 billion daily repo give aways = check

Now would be the perfect time to buy stocks in movie theaters, airlines, cruise ships, travel agencies..... and remember to dump all your gold and silver regardless of price.

Truly an upside down world.

You could have asked. I would have edited the image away.
If not you could have done it that way yourselve.

You can not censor regular news articles. That's something not done.

And if i remember well, that image was in another seperate reaction, so not connected to the news article. I ain't complaining about the image deletion.
Btw, if you didn't know. The image was humor. Everybody knows deficating is something natural and sometimes ends in an 'accident'. It is something totally natural. It was simple humor.
Toiletpaper (also often spoken about here, and memmes placed) is also about deficating. Delete those to then?

If you follow "family friendly" totally strickt then you can immidiaty lock down this total topic for it's subject. As dying sick, weak and elder (grandpa's and grandma's) isn't either family friendly.

Simply delete everything you personally don't like isn't decent. That also isn't 'family friendly'.
You should have asked. That would be decent. I said what i had to say, so for me it's finished.

I need to know why my posts were deleted.

I simply gave an example of how the United States wasn't the only country with policies restricting entry.

If the example of the U.S. policy by the OP was considered ok, why was the Mexico example not?

There you go again, creating problems, lol

I can remember my daughter years ago growling to me about her brother, "HE'S LOOKING AT ME" i imagine your comment might have offended someone like my daughter at the age of 8. Lol
