Just came back from Publix and all the bottled water was GONE. It's like a hurricane is approaching.
Curious to see how many people will be at the beach this weekend.
Yeah, overhere also.
Went from an area to countrywide. Countrywide panicked as result.
Meanwhile my government already stated there will not be any problems as there are more then enough supplies.
This will take a month or one and a half. I wouldn't know how i could prep enough supply for my family with kids or were te put it, meanwhile keeping it fresh.
I live in the centre were it started in my country some time/weeks ago, and still food available in the supermarkets. We still shop as usual. All familiy members still work and go to school, as most neighbours and people around us still do. The effect looks like the yearly cold or flu but some more fanatic.
Those having a 'cold' are asked to stay at home to recover from the 'common cold' as each year. Some receive there groceries delivered at home, were others shop themselves.
These measures (and such panic reactions) effects society and economy more then the virus itself does (although still very sad and bad for the dead victims of course).
We know some people who are really scared. But those have good reasons for that, and handle it without panic.
