Went near the river today and lots of bottle caps in the ground. Decided to use the Fisher F2 in dime and quarter mode. Got a good ring of 80-83 and it was consistent. Easy digging and out popped this Standing Liberty Quarter. I don't have a date on it but I did the dance. Then I found the Benjamin Harrison president token and a 1955 Wheat penny which I found right away before the Standing Liberty. I also found a lot of junk, by the way, that platinum ring I found last week weighs 11.11 grams. The Standing Liberty has the mail on the front and the three stars in the back. I would say its before the recessed date design.

The Benjamin Harrison Token came up a 70-71 which is a dime mode, Okay Digger!!!

Hi Guys,

I did some research on that token and its very light. Someone posted somewhere that the token was part of a Shell promotion with gas stations back in the 1960's. I think they said its made out of brass or aluminum. It rang up as a dime on my vdi with the fisher f2.
