I wish I had photos of my finds over here with me. My wife bought me a curio cabinet to display my finds in. I keep all my relics, silver coins, and any U.S. coin that's not currently being minted in my curio. I know where I've found each and every one of my coins and relics and each has a story to go with it. I keep the wheaties in a jar because there are so many of them and most of them are so far gone due to the soil they were found in. I can remember where I found a few of them due to the date or condition that they're in. My gold finds, I keep in a safe. I don't feel comfortable displaying it with the value of it. I've still got gold that I found 5 years ago but with the price of gold today I'm probably going to sell a good bit of it when I get back to the states. My wife, daughter, and I are going to take a Caribbean cruise on the money I get from it. Anyone want to guess what I'm going to be doing at all the stops? My daughter's birthstone is a diamond so all of my rings with diamonds will have the stones removed for her. I don't mind displaying my other stuff because most people don't know the value of my curio display mainly because it's more sentimental than intrinsic. My clad change gets put into an old gallon pickle jar (after tumbling) and I take it to the local casino where they have a counter. I just don't tell them that I'm NOT going to be spending it in there establishment. LOL. I take the money I've found in a year's time (I think it was about $125 last year) and buy my wife something. It's the least I can do for her for putting up with my filthy hobby.
