Show me your injuns

These came from my yard!

From your yard? That is awesome, the Indian is one of my favorite coins. I still think my wife is seeding my yard with clad dimes. I hit our yard when I only have a few minutes during the day when I can't get out. Find dimes all over.

My first Indian head. 1893 I believe. Trying to clean up a little. 40° today went out for a short hunt. I wasn't feeling any cold after I found this. Almost everything else was junk and a big piece of glass that drew blood.

Sorry forgot to upload picture.

Wow, if it were not for the recognizable neck, headress and date I would think that was one of the zincolns I dig up.

Here's my oldest and most recent Indian Heads. I don't find that many and I don't know where I put my others. Since Wichita was only founded around 1870, I think that my 1871 is about as old as I will find around here. I found it when they removed some houses to make way for building a Gander Mountain store. There were about a dozen with detectors looking and I was the only one left as it got dark. My last reading was at about six inches. Not in the best condition after being in the ground for over a hundred years but still one of my best finds.

The 1901 I found in a park where I had found a few at the other end of the park several years ago. I wasn't expecting to find an Indian Head that day.
