I took the Deus out for a quick hunt at the only tot lot I hunt during school days, and there was already someone playing so I hit around the basketball court. I was just wanting to test some settings on my new all-coin program. It is a program I plan to use when I need to just find some quick change. It worked great for the short time I was there, and as usual, I managed a ring. It is Tungsten, but hey, to me a ring is a ring. #25 for the year. I did dig 3 pull tabs but 4 quarters, 2 dimes, and a copper penny. The ring had been there for a while as it was about 3" deep and dirty.

For those who might be interested, I used the factory Deus Fast, I like the filters, and runs at 26 kHz. I have it at 5 tones, but currently, I'm only using 3 tone zones. I have future plans for the others. Zone 1 for nickels 400 HZ (71-74), zone 2 for copper pennies 600 HZ (92-93), and zone 3 for dimes and quarters 820 HZ (94-97). Notch out 0-70, and 75-91.

Most exciting was that I was able to hunt and not get tired fast.

Great day CP! Glad to hear that you can get out and swing, the days are shorter and it's getting cold.

Well done CP. Those are some interesting rings, and I hope to hit on one in the near future. Congrats.

It rang up in the gold range on my Deus. A 71 at 26 kHz on my 9" HF coil. I thought it would be a nickel for sure. When I first saw it I was thinking gold, but it was way too light so I knew.
