In an effort to get better at this and learn from people who have been doing this for a long time I wanted to see if anyone could offer advise on how they would hunt the following park. If this gets good enough info it might be cool to make it a series for new people coming into the hobby. Here is the background info.
Park was around as early as 1932 (one of only 4 parks in Phoenix after it became the official city) this one is one of the closest ones to the downtown area.
First photo is a google image search. Guessing around 2007 judging by other satellite photos of the area.
Second photo is the park in 1958 (resized and scaled to the google map) so I can overlay these in maprika.
So how/where would you search first? What would your methodology be with the parks history? Do you grid off sections or wander?
Judging by its location I'm expecting a super trashy park because of all the homeless and other people who stay their. From the satellite images of past and present it doesn't look like much work has been done. Which is surprising considering all the renovations some of the older parks here have had. So let em rip, how do you plan your attack?
(I'll have a BHIV with 8 & 4" coil, and a F2 with a 8 & 4" coil, I'll start with the F2)
