Returned to one of my go to spots this morning And started swinging a old road thru a swampy area. Dug my first 3 cent silver 1852! After wandering around the area digging shotgun brass , a few nails and an old ax head I was swinging the road again and got another high tone 93-96 a few feet away from the first one, another 3 cent 1853! Also found a Large cent as I was leaving.

Well done on two very hard coins to find. Maybe one day I'll be fortunate enough to find one. Congrats.
They are very tiny. I think in a lot of dirt they would have sunk deep, maybe too deep to detect, but this was what seemed to be a cart path and they where only a few inches down
