Beautiful sunny and 70s here in Michigan, couldn't wait to get out to a new permission and it didn't disappoint. Couple of silver coins, Clark & Coombes silver vintage ring, couple of IHPs (97, 88), suspender clip patent date of 1874, old 'OK' service tag, nice flat button, 4 wheats. Found a 5-coin spill, 2 IHPs and 3 early wheats in one hole. Owner kept a vintage cast iron rocking horse toy. Enjoy.

Hey Mark, Researched the area (1856 map), its the old town near my house. The permission was a 1910 farm home on the south outskirts of the old town, suspect a much older home was right next door, but long gone as found old square nails and the flat button. Owner's family moved in in the 50s, gave me a tip of a old clothesline, that's where I found the ring, (got to check those old lines ). Gonna continue to knock about in that area some more. The town dried up around the turn of the century, not much there now but good stories I gathered from local historical society residents.
