After the 3 hunts being a clad fiesta--i was forced back the woods-due to recentsnow---thank god I did!!It saved the week!! Went to an area that recently produced some goodies --I came across a quarter/dime signal 2 mins after I turned on my BH Quicksilver--after becoming a pro at digging frozen quarters -this one only took about 5 mins to retrieve@3"--a 1920 canadian dime--then after a few other targets cold started taking affect again--came accross a solid nickel /quarter ''whaa?signal--decided to dig cuz seemed only being about 2.5"down--came up easy-and cleaned with snow--saw that P over monticello--yayay!!love the war nickels(only the 3rd 1 ive dug!)stomp on hole---bam a quarter signal @" away from where i just dug--uncover hole ran probe...sure enuff another signal---chiped area around it--after 10ins of working myway around it i saw the silver--smooth edge--uncovered it (i did nick it with myscrewdriver--on the edge!!then I bout died cuz never saw an early canadian---not sure of the date but --cool coin in My book---hunted for another hour got one headstamp--and tin can lids &junk!!!1st 3 silver days for me(huge for me)starting to like these snowy hunts!!!
