Fisher Impulse AQ detector update

Robo.......Fisher has an agreement with the state now any treasure found on that side of the island must be turned in. Also.... apparently Florida has BANNED the use of PIs in the Gulf.

Sad to say, most of us “dirt fishers” and “sand fishers” are getting older than our average recovered items!!!!!

Me, I hope to have an actual production AQ this year and rumor has it that the nugget version is following close behind.

Meanwhile I will quietly attend to my own disabilities, aches and pains!!! L0L

Rick... nugget hunters post in elsewhere on the forum.. beach hunters including myself want to know when this elusive pulse devil is actually going to be sold...

I have been landscaping for 32 years its taken its toll on me... 2 weeks ago I was using a cane to get up my trailer ramp so I could climb on my zero turn mower.. 4 days now I have been walking with a limp but haven't used the cane

You should get a percussion massage gun on amazon... I tore all my ligaments in my left knee and purchased one of those a few weeks ago. Helps a ton at relieving tension on your knee by massaging your quads/hamstrings/calf.

The one I got was Intelitopia, but there are others, their all about the same sort of setup. It's a percussion massager that helps break up muscle tissue and allow more blood flow to your knee, while also relieving tension.

I normally use it before and after my physical therapy each day.

I'll look into that thanks Josh.. when I first read your post I thought you wanted me to kill myself with a percussion pistol

When (if) this thing ever gets here Robo I’m sure there will be a line of skilled testers doing some comparisons. If they are smart they will keep the info to themselves as well lol.

Don’t hesitate. Get the beach hunter. Had mine since 2/19. Have my fair share of jewelry.

Come on you did the same thing with the NOX and its coils... didn't you ever hear good things come to those who wait?

I find it highly amusing all this nonsense over a new detector or gear... people have been scoring gold for decades with whatever they chose to use... if your coil doesn't do over it... you ain't gonna find it..

Have a nice read:

Hopefully it wont be quite as bad as the Nox release....... i mean gezzzzzs how long did it take to get waterproof phones..... THEN they gave us the same crappy ones they have been using for 20+ years. This one could be worth the wait Craig..... most people if asked would have loved to had one of Eric Fosters machines.....just to have. Here we are ..... someone CLAIMS it has its equal.... AND can disc. I can see a good many hunters ...... who i call professional hunter with a lot of sand getting one of these. Just makes sense..... even if its a nitch machine. wont it be a disappointment thou to some to find out...... i can dig a nickel at 25".....only to realize... they have so much sand they arent digging any more gold than they were with their Xcal:lol:. Then there will be those who dont realize theres to much sand ...... and will be saying it dont work because im not digging anything the Xcal couldnt find....... good chance to pick one up used.

Are you kidding? Your area has a load of history to it... I have researched it... take some time and do the research...

I would love to try it Dew... but I have only beach I would need it for... why should I spend that amount of money for a "niche" detector for one beach that may or may not hold a lot of gold down deep... maybe I'll wait for you to sell me yours.. I'm sure I can get it for cheap after you break something on it

Two weeks ago this detector was finding nickels down to 15 inches where do you get the 25 from? If a person is digging in all sand good luck trying to recover a target fast...:D I remember a recent post from someone who was supposedly getting over 20 inch depth with the NOX... yeah right... its called not knowing how to PP

Craig....the MDT will get a nickel 17”....but the tester now claims over 20+inches on a nickel. I can see your point of course as to why you would not want to spend the kind of money we could be looking at. Here thou... I’m hoping it’s as advertised....and th price might allow me to be the Lone Ranger out there. Now about me breaking stuff :laughing::laughing: I give um heck during that warranty period....I know ML is counting mine down 😂

Yes , history is here land wise, however as far as hunting places, it's all private property , if you want to come down & knock on doors  , just let me know, knocking on door's is not my cup of tea, my luck , i would get buck shot on the 1st knock :rifle:, happy hunting.

20 inches. I better hit the gym. I'm just curious how many people have tried digging a 20 inch hole in the wet sand with waves coming in. I better practice up on my four letter words. I have a feeling they will be unleashed.

What the tester gets on his beach is irrelevant... not every beach will be the same... Dew if I wanted.. I could purchase any detector out there no matter what the cost is..... its not the point though... I have mud, rocks and clay any of my current and past detectors will reach the clay... one beach where Mark found the USA officers button is the exception... that beach the mud goes on and on.. its hard compressed mud and gravel... I don't even waste my time taking the Excal there you need a pulse.
