Finally!!!

Its finally happening! I'm getting my first detector in around a week. My parents said if I got a good grade on my report card, they will get me a detector as an early birthday gift. I got my report card yesterday, and... I got 95.32%! I am still so excited, and I can't wait to get to detecting.

Also great news, I found out a park near my house was an old 1940's airbase, and detecting is permitted there! I've heard of great finds there.

Hey Connor, CONGRATS! Real happy for you. Your going to really enjoy the hobby. Check out a thread I made. It has a ton of information for newbies and pros. Good grades are the key to learning to detect. The more you understand about your detector the better you can use it. Physics has all the answers.
