I think that General Sherman ordered his troops to no only burn Atlanta, but to take all the coins back up north. Old silver finds are rare at old home sites in Atlanta.

I would think you'd have some really good civil war relic hunting around Atlanta with all of the battles that occurred in the area. I hope you stumble across some old silver (or gold!) soon.

Thank you! The same applies around here. There's so many places I've hit this year that have clearly been detected before. No place is ever hunted out though! I usually end up with a couple of keepers when I go to previously hit spots.
