Since we talked I haven’t hunted . Did that little walleye tournament Saturday.
Tough bite but scrounging is not just a metal detecting mainstay .

Thanks Jerry. Been told I have a nose for Silver but I keep saying its not the nose but the ear. It just calls out and says take me Trapper, take me. Truth is I had stopped before seeking permission at this older home but this is the first time someone was home to ask. Trapper

Now that's a fantastic hunt, Trapper! You pretty much got my YTD silver in one knock I gotta start knocking on better locations - and listening better on my headphones!!

Love those Mercs (definitely my favorite dime from an appearance standpoint), but of course the Barber is a wonderful dig, too. And that SLQ is in really nice condition - still looking for my first one of those. All I've been able to get over is GWs for quarters. I just keep telling myself it's just a matter of time and the right location....

Thank you Ben, your reply is greatly appreciated. While I won't come close to last years totals I am pretty happy on this years counts. Know that it has been a lot tougher as most the public grounds have been picked over. I normally get in about 5 to 6 weeks of permissions in the Spring. Because Spring was so late this year I may only get in 3. I can hope for Autumn to be a bit more cooperative. Hope you can get your coal over a Stander or for that matter a Barber or Seated Quarter in the near future. Trapper

Trapper, you found like a month's supply of silvers in one day. Congrats on a most successful hunt!

Thank you John. Your pretty close to right on my big day, It took over 2 weeks to dig the first 6 Silvers and then get 8 in one day. Will be going back the end of this week to see what I missed as I was moving to fast (cherry picked) the first time.
