I had figured that I would not show my ideas before final production but I have decided to give you all a little teaser of an early proto-type. Hold tight, I am still working on some improvements.

Interesting. I can see where the footpad would relieve foot pressure off the bucket itself. But at what cost , added weight ? Being seamless with quality solid welds are crucial.

I'm not trying to be funny... is this an april fools joke?

No way would I buy a scoop like that... I need a pointy scoop for my rock hunting...

I destroyed a Stealth scoop in one hunt in the rocks, literally first hunt using it, it was bent in multiple places. Hopefully your new design holds up better in conditions other than sugar soft sand. Nuttall and Extreme scoops only ones that have held up in my conditions.

I have been using my Stealth 720i in the rocks and I have have no issues with it... although I did pay a welder to double up the pointed lip, cost me $30 while I waited...

Same here, no issues with my 720 in the rocks, though mine was not produced when Chuck was in business...

Hello Crumble,
Your comment has me puzzled. Would you clarify please?

1 - What year did you buy the Scoop?
2 - Did you request a repair under warranty?
3 - If you did not request a repair, why?
4 - Do you happen to have a picture of the damaged scoop?

As the designer and manufacturer of the Stealth, I never had one fail like you say. It is possible the person who welded the unit did a poor job (and possibly by the current owner in California). By the way, Peter the current owner continued with the lifetime warranty and as far as I know, he followed through.

I worked hard to design and build the very best scoop possible and thought I had built a bullet proof reputation.

Since I am going back into the scoop manufacturing business, I had hoped my reputation would follow me

Thank You,
Chuck

Hey Chuck , your in your 80s , there is a time in life when you retire from business & enjoy your golden years, it has gone down in Scoop history as you were one of the best scoop maker's , if your not coming back into the business , why stir the kettle , I retired at 50 , time to enjoy life :rofl2::redbike::sunny::mder::fishin::tropical::boat: WHY RUFFLE THE FEATHERS , Good Luck , & don't tell me your one of those guy's that works till you Croake , when I retired at 50 , I figured I have about 35 years left :scope::goodluck:

Supply & Demand XTREME is the only quality scoop maker now in the US , and makes scoops in 316 SS , Titanium is available , over the year's I thought about that battle with the scoop manufactures. That Chuck was in the center of , Well the battle shouldn't have been taken to his customer's , and it was , to this day I have 4 Chuck made scoops , and one Free XTREME IN 306 SS- that was given to me Because when he opened his business he was on this forum , he used Surf Master in his scoop line , He said on here , whoever Surf Master is gets a free scoop , YOU BET I TOOK THAT FREE SCOOP , Took S--- for 6 months , 4 what , Today is an open market , Quality , Supply , & Demand , If manufacturers have beef with other manufacturers , they battle in court , the battle should never be taken to the customer's , you suck it up , I retired from a fortune 500 company AT 50 , this year they had 12000 layoffs , that's the way the ball bounces , The management slogan was THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAY'S RIGHT , maybe something Chuck should take in consideration , my manager is retired with 7 million in the bank , retired , in his 60s , not 80s , his wife died of cancer a year ago , he's in his 70s now , got a new GF , happy one again , LIFE GOES ON , sooner or later , you call it quits from work :chaplin::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy::confused::my2cents::sadbye: Sell the 95% machinery business , retire :imo::goodluck:

What ? You are the King of Ruffle Featherers ! Maybe Chuck likes being productive and age doesn't matter. It motivates him as long as he's capable. Each person is different. I'm sure you didn't retire by choice at 50 if you really liked your job. My guess it was because of an injury or family matter. And you were too old to be trained in something else. I retired at 55 and it wasn't by choice. I tell friends now who still work to enjoy it while it lasts. Though of course I have things I can do , many times I miss working. Comeraderie , socializing with people and feeling productive , etc. Guess that's why I blab on here , lol. And what do you mean by the scoop battle was fought out by customers ? Wth you talking about...

Why hit the road when I am having fun?
You may have hated your job, that is you, not m

Just keep your girl bring in the bread KOB , I am Set , I am not in my 80s & have to work till the END , The time of life clicks, the longer you work , the less time you have . You can't get time back ! PS What you were asking happened before you were a member here :realitycheck::tumbleweed:
