I don’t know his many folks in USA have deus 2 units.
I know Calabash and his bud do.
And they hunt using them.
And share their experiences.

Notice Calabash has NOT told anyone to buy Deus 2 in any of his videos. He’s smarter than that.

Huh ? What are you talking about ? What videos are you watching ? He's so smart....that he has said , " buy this detector" 139 times without actually saying , "buy this detector". And we are all smarter than that to read into it. Soon there will be an offer code in his video's where he gets a cut.....

Calabash is using the Deus 2 and sharing info.
If Deus 2 was not a new machine what would some folks be saying about his use and videos with deus 2?

What has he stated about Deus 2 thus far that seems untrue?
Any other conflicting video that goes against what he has said about Deus 2?

He even went back and redid nickel buried in wet salt sand. And checked open hole and opened and covered covered hole with nothing in it and swept deus 2.
Even Engineer Dankowski watched and commented. So Calabash did test again to dispel all the comments by the so-called naysayers and nonbelievers.
Calabash didn’t make Deus 2.

In the end let’s see what other users of Deus 2 in various venues have to say about Deus 2.
And see how they align with Calabash’s comments.
Then if there are significant unexplained differences noted then folks can rant all day and night long about calabash.

We shouldn’t have to go through this every time a new Model hatches.

Folks see what the Deus 2 costs.
And Xp wants to sell their units.
So why is it priced so high if it is only a Equinox clone? Or a Nokta Makro legend clone or an Excalibur clone?
There could be a very good reason. Couldn’t there?

Guess maybe the expression you get what you pay for is out then, Right?

So who here can give Deus 2 high praise and not be talked about ??
Or any other detector model for the that matter?

Calabash has not told anyone to go buy Deus 2. Least I can tell. And I won’t Be telling anyone to go buy either.

I figure folks can make up their own minds.
We even had someone here accuse calabash of planting a gold ring so he could video using deus 2.
Funny thing is later on calabash found another ring. This one has chance of being fraud.
Guess if calabash was going to plant a gold ring why didn’t He plant one with K mark insider band?

We’ll eventually see some consensus building as far as deus 2 performances.
In near future.

I find the low key release Xp did with Deus 2 to maybe be an overall indicator of what Deus 2 really is. I could be wrong.

I think 3 test that clearly shows or points in the right direction how capable a VLF detector is on salt water beach.
Is stability as salt water comes over coil.
And how deep it will detect a us nickel in wet salt sand.
And how stable when sweeping on the wet salt sand when tide is out somewhat.
Am I wrong?
This is exactly what NASA Tom talks about and did talk about as far as Tarsacci unit release.
ID of target was talked about too with Tarsacci.

A lot of these tests stink when you apply them to real world wet sand beach hunting. Can't talk for anyone else, but i usually run out and buy the next great thing. None hold an excal blues jock usually. FWIW i think KOB might have mentioned this as well. An Equinox where i am can say a real deep nickel is iron. All iron! Gold too! My area you think it's deep you better dig that krap signal before i do if you got an Equinox! Should know about the Deus2 soon since everyone here will go buy one. The first Deus left the beaches here a couple months after they came out. Nobody i know any longer uses one.

Here’s Calabash on a 28 ft dive today using deus 2.
Note total hours his unit has been underwater (deeper). Not 3-5 ft deep either deeper.

Of course we should TN... when the CTX first came out and we saw video's of all the gold being found by the tester... everyone wanted one and problem was the CTX didn't do the same thing for anyone else... I believe it had a software problem if my memory serves me right...

Then we saw the NOX and how it was built up and being waterproof well we all know now its not waterproof...

How about the AQ talked up by the makers and their spokesman as a discriminations PI it has no more discrimination than other high end PI's out there...

I'm sure there are other detectors that didn't live up to the billing but I hope you get my drift...

Any Excalibur would have found everything he found , no big deal , tell Calibash I have some 5 xl wet suit's and gear , will trade , never used Just another VLF detector No smoking gun , and no water hunters machine/ bomb PS This dive appeared to be in fresh water , not salt , a huge difference testing it's waterproof ability , was he comparing the Deus2 to the ATPRO's fresh water capabilities

I should also add a Nox in my area hates those hidden cellphone antenna's they hide in buildings along the beach. Be interesting to see what a Deus2 does. A CTX you can tune it out. A Nox in my area you say are running a 24 sensitivity. You crank it down to 14 to deal with and and your depth is gone. I can not tune them out. 8G maybe?

At one time i was waiting to see if (name hidden) may be interested in trading an AQ for the stuff i got from Jim Karbowski's estate. Now they would have to give me 4

I'm new to NOX... I didn't touch it the first year I owned it at all... mine is very stable although if I get too close to overhead power lines I will hear them.. but it doesn't bother me because there is no detector as noisy as the Dual Field was and if that doesn't bother me not much will...let me take that back I had a original T2 awesome bottlecap program but it was a EMI magnet...

Took Captain Silver to a permission I scored I had to watch him hunt my permission because the T2 was so unstable... ended up selling in a year later...

Guess you missed my point.
It is alright to be skeptical. It is alright to be using intellectual curiosity.
But attacking someone or questioning their motives without any evidence to support is wrong.
Btw, Calabash called the AQ Impulse exactly what it turned out to be over on dankowski forum if you cared to read. He based this solely on how detector rolled and LAcK of supporting video to substantiate claims. Also having a spokesman for AQ unit who lived in desert versus near salt water Beach, plus this person admitted eventually they didin’t know squat about using pi unit to hunt salt water beaches.

Now next. The Equinox.
Go back and read. Look around. Calabash never did make huge claims for waterproofing integrity of Equinox. Calabash did use Equinox for shallow diving. He then ran into problems with leaking control heads on equinoxes. Three total I believe. Calabash publicly disclosed this leaking on at least one if not more than one metal detecting forums. Calabash main use and talk of Equinox was geared toward relic hunting not salt water or freshwater beach use. Calabash then proceeded to use excal unit using for all his underwater detecting. Then came along Deus 2. His excal is retired. Is for sale. Has 8” coil.
Calabash is using Deus 2 under water far deeper than chest levels. He has not reported any leaks or equipment failure associated with Deus 2.
