Got back out again today while the kids were at school and the wife was at work. Got a permission on the first doorknock and it was a good one! Nothing great in the front yard but a Rosie and a 1931-S Wheat in the curb strip!
Hit a couple other spots and managed a 1945-S Washington and a 1907-S Barber dime. Lots of clad as well but I won't bore you with that nonsense.

Good job. And glad to see that you're keeping those key date S mints on this side of the Mississippi River ! :friends:

Thanks Tom! Those eastern guys already have too much colonial stuff in the ground and large cents......they don't need it clogged up with S mints too! šŸ˜

What a way to start a day, a good first permission request and being able to say "Yet another Barber...".

Heck yeah! I wish I had recorded digging the 1931-S but I don't tend to get that excited about wheats unless I know it'll be an older one.

Great job on the key date and the silvers. That cent is in excellent condition. Well done. :waytogo:
Thanks hoser! I looked at the wheat under my scope at the rig and it is a tiny bit porous from some minor corrosion bur I think I might send it in the get graded by NGC. I imagine it'll get the old "Environmental Damage" notation but I think it would be cool to have it certified.
