XP Deus II-No way there is more here? Shocking Find !!!

The problem is most people buying these $1600 metal detectors are hoping they'll magically find the good stuff with it. Just because it might find more targets (big might there) in heavy iron doesn't mean squat if there's nothing hiding in those iron infested spots in the first place.

I've done quite a few celler holes in my time and NONE ever produced a significant amount of coins or even one bucket list coin. My AT Pro detects all the tiny brass flat buttons in heavy iron, so I'm not missing the coins. Most times, there's just no coins in or around cellar holes.

Bottom line, just because you think you're missing the good stuff in heavy iron doesn't mean you are missing anything. You'll find out the first time you take the Deus II to you favorite spot. Odds are, you'll find jack squat in those iron infested places.

Damn......this is a great post. đź’Ż%

I had really hoped my Deus 2 would be here by now. I'm sure it's just like any other detector when compared to other higher end detectors. My equinox finds stuff my buddies CTX doesn't see. His CTX is deeper on certain targets that my Nox views as iron. My Deus 1 pulls out coins in areas where the equinox has been over. These machines have pluses and minuses. This new Deus 2 looks like it checks off a lot of the boxes. It doesn't need to be a lot better than the equinox it just needs to be somewhat better. Lighter, faster, deeper, better separation, better warranty, more water tight. I think it checks most of the boxes I'm looking for.

Same. One buddy hunts with a ctx. If I do upgrade the deus 2 would probably be what I would get. I’m scared to leave the nox now that I am super comfortable with it after 3 years. Almost 4.

Couldn't believe what the XP Deus 2 found on a site I have been hunting for 2 years. Check out my video

Two years time? I have been detecting a park since 2007 and there are still lots of coins there to be found. That park has been detected from the early 1970s.

People that make videos to hype a certain detector to bring glory to themselves is someone I pay no attention to.

I have yet to see one detector that will perform great in all conditions!!

How would you know you are not missing coins with your detector in thicker iron? ? Are you psychic?

Btw, I haven’t seen anyone on this forum saying a certain detector model makes or generates coins. Would be nice though. Have a detector that makes silver coins.
Lot of possible scenarios out there when it comes to coin and nails configurations.
Tell you what.
I could actually set up a nail(s) and a coin on a mounted device. And bury. And guess what. Your At pro won’t give nonferrous tone on the coin. Even with me showing you where I buried it. And I can take a Deus 1 and swing over and presto! No joke.
Question is where is such a scenario or very similar scenarios in iron ridden site?
It goes like this.
The more nails in a site means more odds of more scenarios where one model detector gets outfoxed. But it don’t take an iron or nail ridden area for this scenario to exist. They do exist out there scattered throughout the world.

More info here. All true.
A site that dates back to the mid 1700s just down the road from me. On river.
Gent lives down there hunted this site loads with White’s XLT for over 8 years. He found some good stuff too.
I started metal detecting in Dec 2010. And this site is where I went.
I hunted with White’s V3i. Then little later bought Minelab Etrac, then a Minelab CTX. Then a Deus 1. All detectors made finds. Deus 1 made the most. I used Deus 1 with low freq coils in this site for quite a while. Then I bought Hf coils for Deus 1, and even made some more finds. There are landmarks in this site. Trees bigger and a cemetery nearer one of the areas that seems to produce.
Anyways there was one smaller site I had busted hard with Deus 1 and LF coils.
When I got my Eqx 800 I took it there and made quite a few finds. Surprising actually to me. So much so I started doing head to heads using Deus 1 LF coils and even Hf coils. It became apparent quickly Eqx was seeing nonferrous things like buttons the Deus and LF coils couldn’t. Now heads to head done using the Eqx and Deus 1 Hf coils was more hit and miss As far as Deus 1 with Hf coils being able to see. What I did notice if Deus 1 using Hf coil wasn’t run in lowest freq band setting it would not allow Deus 1 to see the targets. Going to middle band freq wise upped the odds of it being successful but not on all.

So all detector models are not equals in the iron. I proved it.
Even Deus 1 not the same in department as it depends on whether not it has LF or Hf coil on.

And many VLF detectors operate basically on one freq. a freq generally not high enough to see lot of coins, etc being masked by iron.

Cheers.

TNSHARP "How would you know you are not missing coins with your detector in thicker iron? ? Are you psycho?" FIFY :cool3: I love their argument, "I didn't find anything there, so there can't be anything there.

Are you a Deus II dealer? You seem to be pushing this detector a lot in these forums.

As for your question, it has nothing to do with my being psychic. If you read my comment again, you'll see that I mentioned finding tiny brass buttons in the iron. If I'm not missing those targets, I'm not missing any coins. Got it now?

Yeah I got it alright.
All I need is At pro. Lol
Amazing. Guess all these other detector manufacturers are selling snake oil.
I just share Deus 2 info.
I do have the unit.
I have not told anyone to buy. Or anyone to sell any older unit they have either.
Got it.

It's always been his hang up. Started back with the Makro Red Racer. He was screaming that it was revolutionary, and the best thing since sliced bread. It topped all current machines.

Obsessed with being "the first". Constantly shouting "I've been saying since way back when". Always needs to be "the guy in the know".

In Calabash he found a fellow contrarian and they bonded on that character trait. Sensitive fellows that do no like to be doubted or questioned.

There's my "professional assessment".

I have went to the Garrett finds site and I went to the XP finds site, I do that alot just to look at what all the people are finding using different brands..And I don't see anything on the XP finds that outshine what people on the Garrett sure are finding... Or any brands for that matter.. Just saying

This is no different than what we saw with the NOX and other detectors Free... We don't have an issue with it we take it as informational for members who will appreciate it..

That's fine, but if you're a dealer, you should mention that fact. I like unbiased opinions on detectors, not opinions from dealers trying to get me to pony up 1600k for a metal detector.

I also think it should be mentioned if you got your detector for free from the company that you're endorsing with such fervor. Just my take on it...

My professional is assessment is we should be talking about equipment and what we find using it on this forum. Not talking about members. And this is no laughing matter either.

An unbiased assessment of any detector is always welcome here. But if you received financial gain (cash or given a free detector) from the company, your opinion is not unbiased.

I agree Free on both points...

I paid for my Deus 2. And never received any cash either from Xp.

Looks like you are the one getting free stuff - free bird.

I don’t believe TN gets anything for free,I think he does the testing and videos cause he loves the newer tech.. Nothing wrong with that, but this whole metal detecting thing is a crapshoot, luck and the willingness to accept defeat one day and prevail the next..Bragging rights are a big part of it, who shot the biggest buck or who’s metal detector goes the deepest, who has the most machines in they’re signature,,etc..Calabash got a free machine for testing, that’s pretty big bragging rights in my book..Hell ,I wish someone would send me a free machine...
