What's in a name 
I don't know... well yes I do... Ever since I was a kid I used to dig... it didn't matter where I was. In my moms flower bed, dad's garden, grandma's front lawn.. if there was dirt I was digging in it. LOL I had a St. Bernard and I taught him to dig with me, I would start singing a song about digging and ole Duke would start to dig.
My mom called me digger dan and it stuck..... My real name is Shawn. To this day all of my frinds see me and greet me as digger dan .

I'm an avid windsurfer. When you perform a "carve jibe", the key to success is to get as low as possible...while maintaining the carve. Many years ago at the "after race" party, the song "Low Rider" was playing in the background and some idiot* started singing along while pointing at me..."LowwwwJiberrrrrr".
The name stuck among windsurfers, and I've been the LowJiber ever since.

Seeing my mom's side of the family is from the South & I was born is VA I've always used this as my nickname, CB handle...etc... Also being a Confederate Civil War Re-Enactor it matches up perfectly.
