What does everyone do for a living?

I'm a new member here by the way...

Hi guys!

I am working as a Recruitment Consultant in Singapore at the moment.

Loves my job very much as metal detecting! :D

My last few full time job was actually grave digger and cemetery grounds keeper. I left due to poor pay and crappy management.

Currently I am self employed. I buy auto parts and cars from scrap and junk yards for cheap. Then I clean and rebuild the parts and then resell for a small profit theough car forums, ebay and craigslist. I also do mechanical work for friends in the car club. Last project was a right hand drive s14 Nissan 240sx that is currently being used in drift races.

Did some time in the U.S.Army, still active in the fire service 30 years, rank Lieutenant, Certified Boat captain.

Was a Jail Officer when I first joined, but jumped ship last summer, and now build cockpits for UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopters. Switching soon to be building the newly redesigned Marine Corps helicopter AH-1Z Viper (or Super Cobra).

Not working right now, been off a year, because the company I worked for likes to screw around and they know I'm wise to it. And I'd go back there if I can get them to let me. Money is great. But they bust your butt.

Own and run a coffee shop/bakery at the moment, had a welding/fab shop for 8 years, metal detecting is much more profitable:laughing:none of the above brings more sanity than detecting!:D

I run the Kalamazoo Michigan branch of an industrial distributor of bearings, belts, sheaves, sprockets, seals, linear motion, and power transmission equipment, parts, and accessories.

I served 8 years in the Army on M1 Tanks, got out to raise a family after marrying my hometown girl and have been a Steelworker in a Baltimore steel mill for the last 16 years.

I am a Genetic Toxicologists. (Type of research biologist studying how chemicals cause cancer).

Boy, I bet you are busy! Too many people I know have or had cancer. My dad died from Agent Orange exposure.

I'd love to know why it is getting so bad. Thanks for your work.

I work for a wholesaler in the marketing and IT departments. I also own a small business creating inexpensive flyers for customers, tutoring them on computers (especially seniors) and doing computer repair/maintenance.

Asst manager at a Family Dollar. I get to collect the good stuff that people spend at face value on stupid stuff like candy and coffee.

As the weather gets colder, I find myself "lusting" after coin drawers and the "good stuff people spend at face value" -

When I'm not doing that, I'm flying a King Air 350 for a local company. Did 20 in the USAF; avatar is one of my old "rides" - then about 13 years flying airliners, and now corporate.

Have been blessed to do what I dreamed about as a kid -

Cheers,
Terry
