I was pleasantly surprised with the four Canada silvers and the buffalos. The war nickels were nice too it’s too bad they didn’t have a higher silver content. It’s definitely worth cleaning your clad I have a friend that has told me he just throws it up in the dungrass

So tell us your secret recipe!

Mark in Michigan
Not able to identify when I am detecting too crusty. My secret mix is just a fifty pound bag of play sand and water mix about a half of a cup of sand for cleaning. My big secret this year is right place at the right time and I think lots of luck

I like tumbling my clad near the year end and getting an Amazon gift card fee free from Coinstar. I also started tumbling some relic-esque finds too which has been fun. Thinking of trying to tumble some glass pieces (cool purple/blue colored from broken insulators and bottles) I've found over the years for my daughter to make jewelry out of maybe.

Like those silver coin and Buff discoveries Wgan.

I got another surprise she’s seen better days but for a beach coin I’m not going to complain. It looks like it’s 1888

Thanks I will try ammonia on some. Right now I’m just trying out my tumbler the ones I have been showing are were unidentifiable so they were in with my clad so they have been a surprise
