Simplex update 2.78

if you got a simplex that came with the 2.78 from factory, can you go to 2.77. Would you go to 2.77 or just keep it at 2.78 like came from Nokta?

Yeah...I'm finding mine to be quite noisy too. I think I'm going to go back to 2.77 as well and deal with the jumpy numbers. I should be digging tones and not numbers anyways.

Does anyone have the 2.77 file so I can download the software for my simplex????

2.77, in my opinion, is the only way to go. All my Simplex devices were updated to 2.77 and worked great.

I took mine back to 2.77 just now. Will try it tomorrow and see if I like it better than 2.78

If you need it send me your email and I can email the one I got from Nokta when I first got my Simplex.

That is strange they removed the previous versions from their website. Say someone just wanted to compare/experiment with 2.78 and now their stuck with it or find a copy like Drew. Mine came with 2.78 and I tried 2.77 and prefer as well.

Yes I tried to find 2.77 with no luck. Luckliy I had it from when I first got my Simplex still on my desktop. Worked like a charm. Now to give it a try. I have noticed it seems more noisy/chattery, but that could be the difference in sensitivity? I will field try it later today.

Hmm, I have the Garret pointer but having the sound come through the headphones plus rechargeable battery seems like a win win.
