Shovel recommendations?

I have 2- 35 Piranhas , I like them very nice , a CTX3030, Deus 1 , F75se collecting dust to , mostly beach hunt with a Manticore & Whites Pi's now , what kind of bike do you ride ? , 3 non pedal bikes here , 2 running. Anyway they are nice , I am getting older now & find beach hunting much more desirable , mostly all private property here since I move to the beach , I have only land hunted 3 times , happy hunting , Earl
I ride a Giant Trance 2 29'er and a Cannondale Moterra Neo 5 Electric. The folding detectors I backpack with are just OK. But they are easy to carry.

In the past few years I've owned the following:

Predator model 55 Barracuda - Great shovel with an awesome blade, but lately I've come to prefer D handles over T handles.

Predator model 56 Spartan - Same as the Barracuda, but has a D handle. Love it! My go to shovel. Both the model 55 and 56 are fairly lightweight.

Predator model 24 Phoenix - The curved blade and more blunt tip just didn't work well for the compacted tough GA dirt in my area. Works great in softer ground though.

Root Slayer 29" - Bought this one because it was compact and I wanted something to carry in my motorcycle saddle bag. It works well enough for that, but I don't like the V shape cut into the blade. Makes it difficult to drive into tough ground. It is very lightweight.

Excalibur Merlin - I just recently picked up a couple of these. Haven't used them much, but so far it seems like an excellent shovel. Got this one because it breaks down into two pieces which allows me to carry it in my motorcycle saddlebag or in a backpack. Excellent lockup on the joint and not as heavy as I thought it would be. A little pricey compared to the others, but seems to be very well built. Excalibur also allows you to customize the length of your shovel when you checkout.

Oh , THE bike girl could have went motorcycle in meaning , that's why I asked , I need a new seat for my Trek , when you get older those crotch seats- are hard on you  I want to get a beach bike with wide tires, and comfortable seat , non electric , get back in shape , electric is not for me , happy hunting :waytogo:

Exactly what I don't care for in the Grave Digger Snub nose shovel. The V shape makes it impossible to dig a horseshoe shape plug in Ohio soil that won't fall apart when you flip it out of the hole.

I dug about a dozen holes today.
I need a shovel that will push through all the stones and rocks I'm encountering 3" below the surface :hmmm:

Both the bikes are full suspension mountain bikes. One is electric, the other isn't. Having a full suspension electric is a blast.
