After getting over the hump of beginner trial and error I've finally came to the realization that really good quality stuff far outweighs budget stuff in this hobby 9.5/10 times. That being said I'm trying to find the absolute best hand digger to get. I hunt central upstate NY and vegetation is pretty thick in the northeast where I am. I'd really love to get my hands on a whites digmaster digger but they're basically impossible to find. Suggestions? Comments? What do yall consider the gold standard? Im kinda thinking maybe one of these two. Thanks for any insight I appreciate it!

The Nokta is sturdy and a good choice and what I use now. I used a Garrett and a Whites before and it is just as good as them.

I've tried many in the last 50 years and personally, I like the Lesche. It is expensive no doubt, but I've gone through enough to make it worth the price for me.

I still carry and use my flathead screwdriver in most cases. But when I'm in thick grass trying to get a deeper target, it is the Lesche.
