Ricomax GC-1028 - Replacement coil - Can I do that?

Hello Everyone - (totally new to the hobby) I purchased a Ricomax GC-1028 without a coil cheap. Are coils specific to a unit, or can I purchase a replacement one with the same attachment to connect to the computer?

That seems to be a Chinese detector, parts may be very hard to find. Try e bay?

The coil is most likely specific to the detector. Other ricomax coils may work though. It doesn't look like the 1028 is still in production and also doesn't look like they sell individual coils. I would contact their website and ask.
