Predator tools Hurricane

I tried the Phoenix for a while and just didn’t care for the curved blade. It’s probably good in softer ground without a lot of gravel or roots, but we don’t have many spots like that around here. I prefer the pointier straight blade on my Spartan.
Just got it and I don't care for it either. My favorite is the Piranha then the Ranger. Basically the same blade on a T and D handle.

I haven't used the curved shovel, but I do use the curved Predator Raptor hand tool:

Since using it, I wouldn't want to go back to using this type:

Nice. I just got mine yesterday. Saw the YouTube videos on it and decided to go for it. I'll still take my regular shovel and compare the two while out relic hunting in the woods. Thanks for looking. Good luck hunting.

I tried curved blades, but they are not for me. There’s nothing worse than damaging a good find with your digging tool, so I dig vertical walled plugs. Using a curved blade makes this more difficult.
