One-sided headphone

I've not used the ones you attached the link too, but I just keep one ear cup off so I can hear surrounding noises. I use Garrett easy stow headphones and they are so light having one ear cup off isn't uncomfortable. Plus they have an inline volume control, surprisingly rugged, and priced right.

One nice thing about the one on Amazon is the 1/4 inch plug. Not many have one these days.

If you check out a sponsor pretty much all the headphones they sell for MDing have the 1/4" male end. I think you can pick up a 1/4" male to 1/8" female adapter pretty cheap for use with headphones with the smaller plug.
